Java Virtual Machine:
During his young days as a programmer, Ram was always looking to do some innovative
and challenging projects. He came across JVM 1.0 spec and thought it was quite an
intellectual challenge to implement one. He started doing it but realized that it was
not a one man effort, nevertheless he implemented a partial solution from scratch. The actual implementation is more complete
but is missing. First developed in 2000. You can find my implementations for Java Objects, Classes,Java Byte Code interpretor, a full
JNI implementation, core Java librararies like java.lang and java.thread here. You can also find
my implementation of the mark/sweep garbage collector. The later implementations have support for JDI, JVMPI and the debugger interface, but that
part of the code has been irrecoverably lost. Any comments are welcome! The source is free for both academic and commercial use.

Horoscope Management Software 5.0
The Horoscope Management Software(HMS) is a very valuable tool for all our products. As its name implies, it is used for managing horoscopes of individuals, that is creating, modification and deletion of horoscopes. All horoscopes that you created are stored in the $Windows\astrolgy.mdb file, which you can retreive any time. It is your responsibility to back up this file as often as you can to protect your horoscope database. We recommend a back up atleast once a week. ( or even once a day, if you are very active in using the software). HMS consists of the following components- Mihira Horoscope Manager, Mihira Horoscope Viewer, the horoscope database, Mihira Administrator and the administrator database. First released in 2001.

Mihiroscope 4.0
Mihiroscope 4.0 is an astrological software used primarily for research and commercial purposes in Astrology. It provides substantial astronomical and astrological data.It is used for erecting and reading horoscopes. Currently, the software supports three languages English, Tamil and Malayalam. The number of current users is around 550. The product was first released in 1997.

Mihira Match 5.0
Astrological Matching is performed in this product. The software employs several criteria for matching horoscopes. Papasamya,Star Matching, Dasasandhi and a screening test are done to test the marriage compatibility between a pair of horoscopes. A detailed report of various Yogas that are favourable and unfavourable are also available in the marriage report. More than a hundred different yogas are comprehensively tested. The software is also very useful for a Marriage Bureau although it benefits any aspirant of Astrology. You can store a list of horoscopes, and do a point and click matching. The number of current users is around 300. The product was first released in 1999.

Gem Finder 2.0
Gem Finder 2.0 offers a new approach to the prescription of gems for various purposes, based on the horoscope of the individual. First, it gives information about the primary lucky stone to be worn by the person. Then, it gives a list of other gems which are suitable to the person for different purposes like fortune, education, health, peace of mind etc. The software uses the horoscope to perform a mathematical computation to arrive at the weight of the gem(in carats) which is suitable for the person. This makes the product unique. Other information provided include the various combinations of gems which are not to be used together. It also gives information as to which periods are more suitable for each gem. It also provides alternatives to costly gems which serve the same purpose. The number of current users is around 50. The product was first released in 2002.

Mihira Web 1.0
A web based solution that used activeX for the entire product family. The product was released in 1999, but conseuqently withdrawn due to technical reasons. The fix was not done, and this is planned for a re-release in 2007 with new features.

Yogasagar 1.0
Yogasagar is a script engine that can be used by advanced users for extending the capabilities of Mihira group of products. It introduces a scripting language called Yog and is a astrology aware interpreter with high level functions. This is still under testing and development.

Phonetic Transliterators
Mihira Family supported the Indian languages Tamil and Malayalam. And in those olden days, there were no easy ways
to enter Tamil or Malayalam text. Ascii code had to be entered into the editor character by character. Ram got very
frustrated and resorted to implementing a phonetic transliterator that can convert English into Malayalam and Tamil.
Nowadays, there are many free tools available, but in those days in 1995, internet was not available or very expensive and all coding had
